What am I living for?

What am I living for? What is my Purpose?
Nearly everyone of us ever asked this question. Well, how couldn’t we, if we’ve been told throughout our whole childhood how important it is to know the answer to the following question:

„What do you want to become when you grow up?“

A year from know I will have finished the A-Levels, but I still do not know the concrete answer to the question
„What do you want to become when you grow up?“.

But is finding the answer to question really that hard?

I believe the answer to this question is much more profound than we might think. It’s there, deep in our subconcious. The answer. We all know it.

It’s not revealing itself in a concrete, specific response, but rather in a will, a wish:

„I wanna change the world.“

It’s the drive, this strive to change, to move, create, to inspire. We all know it. We all have it, deep in us.

When you’re alive today, when you’re reading this know that you have a purpose.

You’re existing to change, to move, to create and to inspire. You have a purpose.

It’s not revealing itself in a concrete, specific response, but rather in a will, a wish:

We live for so much more than ourselves. We live for others. Got himself called us to do this, to do something greater.
He gave you a mind, he gave you a voice, he gave you everything you need.

he put something in you. A light. The light which only you can shine. Your light.

“This is our time on the history line of God. This is it. What will we do with the one deep exhale of God on this earth? For we are but a vapor and we have to make it count. We’re on. Direct us, Lord, and get us on our feet.”

– Beth Moore

We don’t just live to go to school or to work, come home engage in our hobbies, do homework and go to sleep.
You have a purpose for your life, a purpose only God knows.
Only our creator knows what His creation was made for. So, if you wanna know your purpose, Daddy would definitely be the one you should ask…

You have a gift and a purpose for your life. Listen, you can decide what you’re going to do: if you’ll continue living your life the way you do now, or if you’ll finally stand up and move! It’s your decision to sit there and watch others making history, regretting to not have done anything, or to take charge of your life and change the world with the gift you’ve been blessed with.

„Don’t just aspire to make a living, aspire to make a difference.“

For some people this means to work in a voluntary capacity, to get involved in an aid agency, to draw attention to human trafficking, or to help out in the homeless shelter next door. For others it means to build a school in places there are none, to get involved in human rights activism, for others it simply means to bless other people with the gift you have been blessed with, be it singing or playing an instrument, talking or encouraging others, to be empathetic, to lead or even something else.

But one thing’s for sure: nothing can hinder you to live out what you’ve been created for!

I don’t believe that anything, especially your past, can influence who you are and who you will become – as long as you don’t let it.
No matter how dirty, no matter how dark or sad it was, whether it was painful or broken, you have the choice to decide if and how your past will determine your present and your future.
Know that you do have a choice. You can decide if you’re gonna stay a prisoner of your past forever and never become the person God intended you to be; or if you’re gonna take the focus off the darkness that was in your life, finally fix your eyes on Jesus and accept the freedom he died for so that you can have it. Don’t let the things people say influence you…

You have the choice to live in the freedom Jesus died for.

I personally loooooooove to dream big and to have big wishes and goals. Goals and dreams to which other people say „this is impossible.“ – Ha, you don’t know my God! Everything is possible for him who believes – and I believe, because I know how great my God is. I love to have goals and visions that are bigger than what I can imagine – not just for me but most of all for others.

What is it that you want to be known for when you die? Your appearance? The number of your followers? Or for how you brought the light God has put inside of you out to the world?

Choose wisely.
